A smartphone app with unlimited use while on holiday and which may be used thereafter too. It contains 5 self-guided walking routes in Valletta with audio and written information about all the points of interest in the city.  If you buy the Premium option, your pass will also include free entrance to Malta 5D show!

Yes, the safety of our customers and staff, remains to be our highest priority. 

Our walks are completely contactless – you will be using your own device and/or headphones throughout the duration of your walks therefore will receive no props, hearing aids or visual aids from us.

All our walks are entirely outdoors, avoiding busy indoor venues and modes of transportation.

Most often, a full walking itinerary may take between 45 – 120 minutes. Details are given by the itinerary of each tour. 

The audio commentary is available in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian.

Our walking itineraries are carefully designed with input from our local tourism experts, to ensure that key attractions, landmarks and monuments can be enjoyed during your walk.

Yes! You will need to use your own mobile device and headphones to access the app and utilise all of our guided and self-guided functions. Please note, mobile devices and headphones will never be provided to you by our local experts. Just in case you’re wondering, the walk will only use approximately  40 megabytes of data.

At the time of downloading your city map, we do offer a lower resolution option so you can save battery usage, if preferred. Throughout your sightseeing experience, your City Guide will indicate charging stations nearby, should you need to charge your phone. Although we have these options, we do highly recommend beginning your tour with a fully charged phone battery, to ensure you get the most out of your experience!

True to our name, our tours consist of a lot of walking and as we factor in traffic control, narrow walkways, stairs and other factors that may impact the suitability of some of our tours, it unfortunately makes it difficult to accommodate wheelchair users.

The nature of our walks can provide an experience to all the family and children usually love the experience. 

Once activated, your City Walks app and its content remains valid for you to enjoy unlimited use!

To activate the self-guided functions of your pass, you can simply scan your QR code and download your city map, pre-arrival. This will save you both time and battery life, from the moment you step foot in your city.

To activate the guided functions of your pass, head over to your our City Office at 7 Old Bakery Street in Valletta, or locate your nearest local expert who will scan your QR code upon arrival (you should have this ready to present) and activate your City Walks map and tour features.

No! After your purchase, you will receive an email with an activation code which you will use to activate your smartphone app and download the content. You can start your experience within minutes from your purchase.
